What personal data we collect and why we collect it
General
When you sign up for my newsletter, your name, email and preferred email list will be kept in a database with Constant Contact. You can view the Constant Contact privacy policy here. If you sign up to receive notice of my blog postings, your name and email address are stored on this website and used for this purpose only. Please note that this is not the same as receiving my email newsletter and I will not transfer your data to my newsletter list unless you specifically request or agree to this. Your data is not shared with anyone and is used only to share the newsletter or post updates you have requested. If you have attended a class/workshop/webinar with me, I will add your data to the email newsletter list and you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time.
Case Notes for Therapy and Process Workshops
- To fulfil the “contract” to provide various therapies, the therapist/facilitator needs to hold certain information about clients, which includes your name, contact details, and relevant medical and life history, as provided and agreed by you.
- This information is completely confidential, except if I need to share information with my supervisor for reflection to enhance our work together.
- If you live in the EU and are in a therapeutic relationship with me, for prenatal and birth therapy or Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, or are in supervision/mentorship with me, I will provide you with a form to read and sign, including more specific details about how I use and protect your data.
- The information is used by the therapist to give treatment and review progress with the clients or to contact them about appointments and will not be used for any other purpose.
- For Womb Surround Process Workshops, the information is used by the facilitator(s) to provide support to the participant both pre, during and as needed, following the workshop. Some information is shared with the assistant(s) as needed to support you in your process.
- Case history forms will be provided to clients/workshopparticipants electronically in Microsoft Word format (or as PDF if requested) with the option for the completed form to be password protected by the client/ participant. If the client chooses not to password protect their form, then it will be password protected once received.
- We are required to maintain case records/ notes for the time periods as defined by both theinsurance company and Association’s Code of Ethics. This is usually 7 year after our last session.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
If you contact me using my contact form, I keep contact form submissions for up to a year for customer service purposes, but I do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes. I will respond to your email personally and do not share your information submitted with anyone. I may ask you if you would like to subscribe to my email newsletter but will not subscribe you automatically.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
I do not share your data on the website with anyone, except as noted above in the case of therapy, supervision/mentoring where some information may be shared for reflection with my supervisor. If you attend a class or workshop, your name and contact information may be shared with an assistant or organiser as needed for purposes of sending you information about the event and tracking your payments. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
